POWER EDUCATIONS 2009 MACKAY TOURNAMENT A HUGE SUCCESS

Teams taking part in the Power Education International ODI and 20/20 Cups At Harrup Country Club were:-

Rajahstan State Team, Jaipur, North Queensland Representative X1, NSW Representative X1, Toombul X1 and Beenleigh X1.

Winners of the 50/50 were Rajahstan.

Winners of the 20/20 were Toombul.

The Rajahstan X1 included a number of Ranji Trophy players and 2 IPL players.

Jaipur included Ipl and Ranji Trophy players.
Toombul were captained by Jimmy Maher (Australian and Queensland Representative.)
Beenleigh included Clinton Perren (Queensland allrounder)

Doug Walters presented the Trophies to the winners.
Finals were played under lights.

DDCA (under 22) Tour of Australia

DDCA (under 22) team completed their opening week first leg tour of Australia at Sydney and flew to Brisbane this afternoon gaining confidence and technical knowledge from experts of the game.

No sooner on their arrival for 19 days to on Monday the DDCA team members had a coaching cum training session at the Power education indoor cricket center, of the Sydney cricket grounds from Tuesday.

India Tour 2008

Power Education visited India during 14-25th of April this year with a special touring team.  The team was made up of emerging Australian junior talent, several supporting first class players and some experienced heads drawn from Australian corporate and tourism environments.

The team played matches in Delhi, Jaipur and Bangalore.

The team was fortunate to stay at the heart of Indian Cricket, at the Future Cricket Academy (Greg Chappell Centre of Excellence) in Jaipur, and the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
